Oils and Waxes
We use only cold-pressed oils; this method of extraction where heat is reduced and minimized throughout the batching of the raw material, helps the oil retain its original state, constituents, and depth making it an ideal natural base for aromatherapy.
APRICOT KERNEL OIL high in the essential fatty acids oleic and linoleic and contains vitamin E. Nourishing yet light and easily absorbed without leaving an oily feeling.
EVENING PRIMROSE OIL rich in essential fatty acids particularly gamma linolenic acid (GLA), 
which is responsible for many of the enzyme activities carried out in the body. It is readily absorbed into the skin, softens and smoothes lines as it moisturises, rejuvenates and revitalises the skins appearance.
JOJOBA OIL is not actually oil but is liquid wax. Although very expensive in comparison to most other oils, Jojoba is one of the best for skincare as it is highly penetrating and closely resembles our natural sebum. Jojoba helps remove excess oils and balances the natural skin oil. It helps to provide a protective barrier from the elements and is ideal for all skin types from very oily to very dry including the most sensitive. High in vitamins it helps to restore the skins regular pH level, it also contains myristic acid that has an anti-inflammatory action which can calm irritated skin.
ROSEHIP OIL is known for its healing benefits and has, in many research studies throughout the world, proven to improve the elasticity of the skin, regenerate skin cells, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and reduce scars. It is high in vitamin C, omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids and gives skin a fresher healthier look. Although also very expensive, Rosehip along with jojoba is one of the most useful and versatile oils for the skin.
SUNFLOWER OIL is regenerating and high in essential fatty acids and vitamins A and E. Helps to moisturise and nourish the skin without clogging the pores, beneficial to normal/oily skin types.
SWEET ALMOND OIL is an excellent emollient, softening and soothing to the skin, rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and is quite easily absorbed by the skin. Sweet Almond oil is a great emollient for moisturising, softening and soothing the skin and may help with inflamed skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It also helps the skin to balance its loss and absorption of moisture.
SHEA BUTTER extracted from the root of the karate tree grown in West Africa. Excellent for dry skin it moisturises, softens and protects the skin while improving suppleness and elasticity.

Infused oils are the result of macerating fresh herbs into a base carrier oil, the Avari Skin Therapy infused oils are not genetically modified in anyway.
CALENDULA INFUSED OIL is macerated oil; there have been many testimonials as to the effectiveness of this oil for helping in the healing of wounds and inflamed skin conditions.
CARROT INFUSED OIL is quite different from the essential oil. It is excellent for dry, inflamed or irritated skin conditions and beneficial for all skin types.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are highly concentrated aromatic substances found in many plants, leafs, flowers, seeds, wood, root or resin. The oil is thought to contain all of its special properties including characteristic fragrance and therapeutic effects. Researchers throughout the world are proving what ancient peoples in Egypt and other places intuitively knew – that essential oils have powerful effects on the mind and body.
BERGOMOT (non photo-toxic) a fresh invigorating spicy sweet scent, like oranges and lemons with floral overtones. It is known to be an anti-depressant and traditionally used for its antiseptic properties.
CHAMOMILE GERMAN BLUE has a fruity apple like 
aroma and contains Azuline, a powerful anti-inflammatory; it’s soothing, regenerating and has antibacterial properties.
GERANIUM has a sweet aroma similar to rose. Is antidepressant, balancing and fluid reducing; it calms anxiety and lifts the spirit. Useful for all skin conditions as it balances sebum and helps to keep the skin supple.
HELICHRYSUM also known as Immortelle or Everlasting, is a rejuvenating oil which promotes cell growth, helping to rebuild tissue and energise the organs, particularly useful for skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema and burns.
LAVENDER FRENCH is anti-depressant, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and regenerative. The most versatile of all essential oils, lavender is good for all skin types from acne to very dry and helps promotes growth of new skin cells.
LIME a light enticing scent, its astringent, toning and refreshing properties help clear congested skin.
MANDERIN has a refreshing uplifting aroma and is often used to eliminate depression and anxiety.
MARJORAM SWEET a warm, penetrating and slightly spicy aroma, it is analgesic, antiseptic and calming to the nervous system.
MYRRH has a smoky and slightly musky aroma. It is antiseptic, astringent, deodorant, disinfectant and diuretic (best to avoid during pregnancy) seems to lift feelings of weakness and apathy and is beneficial for eczema and dermatitis.
NEROLI a beautiful floral fragrance; is soothing, helps relive stress and promotes cell rejuvenation. Used in preparations for sensitive skin, scars, stretch marks and wrinkles. Also useful for the treatment of broken capillaries under the skins surface an excellent oil which stimulates cellular activity and growth.
PALMAROSA has a floral, fragrance with a hint of rose. It is antiseptic and antiviral, is beneficial for acne, dermatitis, minor skin infections, scars, wrinkles and moisturising the skin. It stimulates cellular regeneration
ROSE OTTO deep sweet and flowery, an exquisite perfume which has a soothing effect on the emotions. Excellent for all skin care helps with redness or inflammation, sensitive skin, spider veins, wrinkles, dry and mature skin.
Gem Essences
The basic principle behind the use of gem essences is the same as that of flower essences: that the interaction of pure water and sunlight with the essential energy of the gems charges the water in which they are placed with their subtle energy. Like Essential oils, Gem Essences have a powerful effect on the mind and body.
Hydrosols/Floral Waters
Hydrosols come from the condensation that is collected during the steam distillation of flowers and plants when extracting essential oils, and retain many of the essential oil properties. They are treasured for their healing properties and gentleness and are an excellent pick me up for the skin, often used to tone, refresh and revitalise.

French Argiletz Clays
These exceptional range of clays have been mined in the South of France. After mining, the clays are sun dried leaving behind 100% of its natural trace elements, ensuring activity rates are at their highest. Enriched with minerals these clays can assist with healing, regeneration and detoxifying.
YELLOW ARGILETZ CLAY rich in minerals it improves the condition of devitalised and tired looking skin, adding a healthy glow as it tones and tightens the skin.
GREEN ARGILETZ CLAY used to deep cleanse, it draws out toxins and calms inflammation as it clarifies and purifies. It is ideal to use in the treatment of acne.
RED ARGILETZ CLAY rich in trace elements it revitalises the appearance and improves the condition of dry, sensitive and capillaried skin.
Other Ingredients
Anti-oxidants help protect the skin from free-radical attack caused by environmental influences such as, pollution, smoking and toxins. They help prevent oxidization and prolong the life of botanical oils.

ROSEMARY LEAF EXTRACT is derived from the natural anti-oxidants present in rosemary, an anti-bacterial anti-oxidant that works synergistically with Vitamin E
Emulsifiers combine water and oil to form a 
stable emulsion (cream). We use skin friendly emulsifying compounds made from food grade ingredients only. We do not use ingredients extracted through a chemical process as this can cause carcinogens to form and include a significant proportion of petrochemical materials which have been known to cause irritation and skin sensitivities such as contact dermatitis.
